At Platinum School of Performing Arts we believe that everyone has the right and ability to express themselves through the art of dance. For this reason, we have created our adaptive ballet/creative movement classes, for children with special needs, including but not limited to: Cerebral Palsy, Muscular Dystrophy, Autism, and Down’s Syndrome. This program is tailored for students currently enrolled in grades 2nd through 5th.
Students will study ballet technique and explore creative movement customized to their needs and abilities. It is our goal for Platinum dancers of ALL abilities to develop their skills to their own maximum potential. Not only do these classes promote physical growth and development of coordination, balance and strength, but they also provide an outlet for social and creative development. Parents will work closely with instructors to communicate the goals for their children.
Classes will incorporate parent observation days, and will work towards an end of year recital. Tuition for class is $60/monthly, and are held on Saturdays from 10:15- 11:00am.
Please contact us if you are interested in additional information about enrollment, or assisting as a volunteer. Please see below for dress code.
